Varna Rajeshkannan is the founder of HeARTscribe, a creative wellness platform where children in schools transform their experiences with bullying, stress and big emotions into art, stories and poems — with the help of young volunteers.
Varna started HeARTscribe with a simple belief: every drawing tells a story. When a child cannot find the words for what they feel, a crayon can speak for them. With the support of volunteer writers, poets and artists (ages 14+), every sketch shared with HeARTscribe becomes a poem, a story or a comic — turning challenges like bullying into confidence and self-expression.
Through monthly HeARTfolio editions, school workshops and anti-bullying campaigns, Varna and the HeARTscribe volunteers work to build kinder communities between families, teachers and peers.
